Description

Galeria Perdana, built in 1995, showcases various awards, souvenirs and gifts received by the fourth Malaysian Prime Minister, The Honourable Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and wife, The Honourable Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Bt Mohd Ali from world leaders and statesmen as well as Malaysians during his tenure as Prime Minister.

This is in line with Tun's belief that the collection belongs to the Government and people of Malaysia. Through these gestures of friendship from all over the world, visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate the uniqueness and diversity of various arts and cultures portrayed.

The highly creative and meaningful sculpture entitled "Window of Opportunity" symbolises an open window representing the window of opportunity to the nation created by Tun Mahathir's vision, strategy and policies.
